Molto famoso e sentito, il Carnevale è detto della “Coumba Freidada”, cioè della valle fredda. Coinvolge tutti i paesini delle tre vallate. Una processione coloratissima risale le valli e passa dai paesi di Gignod, Allein, Etroubles, Saint-Oyen, Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses, Roisan, Doues, Valpelline, Ollomont e Bionaz.

Le persone in attesa lungo la strada si accodano così man mano al corteo. Tra le maschere non mancano quella di Napoleone a cavallo, a ricordo dello storico passaggio attraverso il Colle del Gran San Bernardo, e quella del classico Diavolo con il forcone.
